Introducing Mystic Heart Taizé Gatherings
Please join us on Sunday morning, January 5st for our first Taizé Gathering. We will meet at the Mystic Heart Gathering Place, at 3609 Bechelli Lane, Suite H, in Redding on the first, third and fifth Sundays of every month. Taizé is what one might call meditative worship: a service that intentionally includes the elements of inspirational readings, silence, repetition and sung prayer among other devotions. The services will begin at 10:00 am and last for about an hour. At the conclusion of the Taizé service, we will share coffee, tea and finger food, and then re-convene in a discussion circle to share our insights and experiences. This Meditation and Conversation service balances well with our Celebration services on the second and fourth Sundays of each month (see below).
Mystic Heart Celebration Gatherings
Our Sunday Morning Celebration Gatherings at the Woodlands return to the second and fourth Sundays of each month: Meditation starts at 11:00 am, and the Celebration Experience starts at 11:15. Our Junior Mystics Children’s Program begins at 10:50 – please remember to sign your children in! Feel free to come for one service or both. If you are attending the Celebration Experience only, please remain quietly in the lobby until Meditation is over.
We gather in the beautiful Community Room at Woodlands Apartments, 2950 Polk St., Redding, CA. We are inviting everyone to bring a light potluck snack to share as we visit after the Celebration.
