Metaphysical Bible Study

This is an ongoing weekly discussion group where drop-ins are welcome. Join us for a fun and enlightening study of one of the most read, yet most misunderstood books, or collections of books, in the world. We will begin with the Creation myths of the Hebrew Scriptures or Old Testament, looking at each story and character through the lens of mythology and symbolism; within its historical and cultural context; and according to its literary genre and qualities. No prior knowledge of the Bible is required…only an openness to learning how to interpret this great Sacred Work for yourself. Inspirational Book Study

Join Mystic Heart for an inspirational and motivational book study group that could change your life. The book study group meets to discuss each title for 6-10 weeks depending on the title’s length. Members read a chapter or two each week and then meet to discuss each person’s perspective or interpretation. After each book is completed, there is a two to three week break to allow members to purchase the new book. New selections are chosen based on members’ interests and recommendations. Previous titles include Have A Little Faith by Mitch Albom, Proof of Heaven: A Neurosurgeon’s Journey into the Afterlife by Eben Alexander, M.D., The Way of the Peaceful Warrior by Dan Millman, and The Celestine Prophecy by James Redfield.

The book study group meets on Tuesdays from 3:00 – 5:00 pm. Donations are graciously accepted. See our events page for more information.
