The Core Council serves as the Board of Trustees for the Mystic Heart Spiritual Center. It is responsible for the ongoing governance of our Beloved Community. Core Council duties include fiscal oversight, long-range planning, budgeting and promoting the Vision and Mission of MHSC.  The Core Council also serves as the Board of Trustees for our 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation. Generally, Core Council gatherings are held on the second Tuesday of every month from 12:30 to 2:30 pm.

All members and friends of Mystic Heart are invited to attend Core Council gatherings.  Occasionally the Council may have to convene an Executive Session, which only board members may attend (due to personnel matters or other confidential issues: follow the link for more information).  If the Core Council convenes an Executive Session, non-members of the Council will be asked to adjourn to the Sanctuary until Open Session resumes (we’ll come get you). Likewise, the Zoom microphone and camera will be muted during the Executive Session portion of the meeting.
